ICC unveil first ever all-female officiating line-up for Women's ODI World Cup

Business To Business, Dubai, 11 September 2025: Emphasizing that it transcended mere symbolism, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Thursday an all-female officiating panel for the forthcoming One Day International (ODI) World Cup, set to commence later this month in India and Sri Lanka.

The tournament will inaugurate with a contest between the co-host nations, India and Sri Lanka, in Guwahati on September 30.

The officiating ensemble features former Indian cricketers Vrinda Rathi, N Janani, and Gayathri Venugopalan. Additionally, GS Laksmi, the first-ever female match referee and a former Indian cricketer, will serve as part of the four-member match-referee panel.
