Business To Business, Glasgow, 28th July, 2026:   National record holder Sarvesh Kushare created history by becoming the first Indian to win a silver medal in the men's high jump at the Commonwealth Games.
The 31-year-old cleared 2.25 metres to finish second in the event on Monday night.
Romaine Beckford of Jamaica claimed the gold medal after also clearing 2.25m. Both athletes failed in their attempts at 2.28m, but Beckford was awarded the gold on countback, having recorded fewer misses earlier in the competition.
